Comfort Suites, Gettysburg PA 17325 is the newest 100% Non Smoking all suite hotel in the area, featuring deluxe hot breakfast, heated indoor pool, fitness center and free internet access. All suites are equipped with 32" flat screen TVs, work desks, mini refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers and many other modern amenities.

The hotel's elegant ballroom can accommodate up to 200 people for parties, weddings, reunions, meetings and any other special occasions or events.

We are conveniently located at 945 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA 17325 adjacent to the Evergreen Cemetery, a historical landmark where President Lincoln delivered his famous Gettysburg Address, and the Gettysburg National Cemetery, the final resting place for more than 3500 Union soldiers killed in the famous 3 days battle.  The Gettysburg National Cemetery is one of 14 national cemeteries managed by the National Park Service. We are flanked on the other side by the Gettysburg National Visitor Center, home to the famous Cyclorama painting.

Comfort Suites, Gettysburg is perfectly situated in the center of the National Park Service’s preserved battlefield.  Culp’s Hill, significant in the 2nd day battle is directly across the street and Devil’s Den, Little Round top, Seminary Ridge and the field in which Picket lead his famous charge are within minutes.  The various ways to tour the famous battlefields are as diverse as our guests.  Choose from guided bus tours, private tours by a licensed guide, horseback, bicycle, self guided auto tours, segways, scooters and even I-Pad tours!  Or, you can walk or hike around and through these sacred grounds.

For a wonderful dining experience we recommend any of the historic inns and restaurants including the Dobbin House, The Fairfield Inn, The Farnsworth House or the Cashtown Inn.  All provide a delicious dining in buildings that have their own story in our history. There are a variety of wonderful pubs including The Pub, The Blue and the Gray, Blue Parrot Bistro or Gettysburg Eddies.  Gettysburg is also home to many ethnic restaurants including 2 Irish Pubs; The Gary Owen or O’Rourkes, Thai; Thai Classic IV; French; Café Saint-Amand, Asian: Li’s Buffet, Ping’s, and Mexican: El Costeno, Montezuma’s. There are buffets, such as General Lee’s (perfect for cost conscience groups), and plenty of pizza and subs from local favorites like Tommy’s or Bella Italia to national Chains like Dominos, Pizza Hut or Pappa Johns. A local favorite bar and restaurant, The Pike, is located right on our parking lot and is perfect after a long ride for dinner or a few cocktails, no driving required.

In the evening enjoy a spooky ghost tour, a game of miniature golf, a movie or a live show at either the beautifully restored Majestic Theater or the summer stock Totem Pole playhouse and finish the evening with some homemade ice cream from Mr. G’s or some handcrafted candies from Kilwins Chocolates.
